Preschool program working in district
The Erlanger-Elsmere School District, in conjunction with multiple regional partners, has established a very successful pre-kindergarten program. This program was recently featured in an article on the Cincinnati.com website.

Miss Kentucky visits district
Clark Janell Davis, Miss Kentucky 2015, visited the Erlanger-Elsmere School District on Friday, January 29. Davis visited the district as spokeswoman for the Kentucky Proud program.

Kindergarten registration March 9 and 10
Arnett, Howell, Lindeman, and Miles Elementary Schools will hold kindergarten and first grade registration for the 2016-17 school year on Wednesday and Thursday, March 9 and 10.

Howell, Lindeman earn national recognition
Howell and Lindeman Elementary Schools recently received national recognition for their counseling programs. The American School Counselor Association designated both schools as a "Recognized ASCA Model Program." The River City New recently published a story about the honor.

District's kindergarten readiness scores, preschool enrollments soar; United Way an important partner
An important barometer for how well a child will do throughout their education is how well prepared those students are when they enter kindergarten. The Erlanger-Elsmere School District's kindergarten readiness assessments (given to incoming kindergarten students) improved dramatically for this year's kindergarten students, and in order to continue that improvement, the district has more than doubled its preschool enrollment. A recent article in the Northern Kentucky Tribune focused on the improvement in both the Erlanger-Elsmere School District and the Dayton School District, with a focus on how the United Way's Success by 6 program is helping both districts.
