Dorothy Howell Elementary School was named after Mrs. Dorothy Howell, whose life as a teacher and principal of the school, touched many young lives. There are approximately 311 students enrolled in grades K-5. Howell Elementary is a community school where faculty and staff take an interest in EVERY student. The staff is currently aligning the curriculum to ensure that the core content areas are sufficiently covered in all grades. The school has a close relationship with its business partner, Mazak. Truly, the school and community work together to give the students the best education possible.
